Our Expectations

From the Players ...

Players will respect the important things in life: Faith, Family, Community, School, then Baseball

  • Attend church regularly
  • Maintain at least a B average in school
  • Do your own homework!
  • Participate in various Community Service events with the Titans/Saints teams
  • Play more than 1 sport
  • Show respect for adults at all times (Yes Sir, No Sir, Please, Thank You)
  • Set aside time for family fun.
  • Exhibit excellent sportsmanship.
  • Pick each other up

From the Parents ...

The essential elements of character-building and ethics in sports are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship and six core principles: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship. The highest potential of sports is achieved when competition reflects these "six pillars of character."

Our parents must agree to adhere to the "Parental Code of Conduct" as defined by the National Youth Sports Safety Foundation. Additionally, the Titans Baseball Organization expects the following from all participating family members:
  • Players are expected to be at the field and ready to play/practice at the designated time. Designated start times are actual start times, not suggestions or arrival times.
  • Practices are closed. Games are open.
  • We expect that parents and families will not "undo" any coaching that we've done on the rides to and from games/practices.
  • Further, we expect that any areas for discussion that we send our players home with, will be discussed. Frequently, we will share devotions, bible stories, or even our own stories with the players in hopes that it will lead to some thought and/or discussion at home.
  • Play catch with your kids. No coaching. Just play catch.
